Merton at War: Heritage Trail.

As part of the Carved in Stone project, Merton Heritage Service has now released a Merton at War Heritage Trail. This highlights places of interest and sites associated with Merton during the First World War including recruitment venues, army camps, the role of women, local industry, hospitals, memorials and wartime collections. Copies are available from Merton libraries and a range of local heritage attractions.
