Harry Juster was born on 24 March 1895 to James, a carpenter, and Sarah. He had a twin, Bertie plus 7 other brothers and sisters and the family lived at 140 Effra Road, Wimbledon before moving to 10 Granville Road, Wimbledon.
He attended Rutlish school and became an errand boy when he left.
Harry had only been in the trenches for a week, according to the Wimbledon Boro News, when he received his death wound. He and his brother had joined up together and did their training at Chatham before being sent to France. Harry is buried in the Bologne Eastern cemetery Pt 111.
