Mitcham War Memorial

Unveiled on 21 November 1920, by Lieutenant General Sir Herbert Edward Watts KCB, KCMG, this is one of the few local memorials to be inscribed with the names of the war dead.

Nearly 600 men are commemorated on panels below the memorial cross, which is also adorned with swords of honour.
