Death reported of Harry Carruthers of the 12th London Regiment (the Rangers). He had been wounded and captured after only three weeks of being sent to France. For two years he was in the Friedrichsfeld Camp as a prisoner of war. The War Office informed his parents in Carlisle that he had died of dysentry.
