Extract from the Register of Soldiers Effects. Air Mechanic Albert Hobart's last pay and War Gratuity was claimed by his aunt Alice Mary Hobart. His parents had died while he was in infancy, and he considered his aunt as his mother, and subsequently went by her name of Hobart, instead of his parents name of Goldsmith.
