Herbert Perrin was the son of James Perrin, from Surrey, and Elizabeth Perrin, from Norfolk. In 1881 Herbert was baptised.
He was married to Louisa Perrin. In 1901 Herbert and his wife Louisa were registered as living at Putney Bridge Road, Wandsworth with their 1 month son, Herbert Robert.
By 1911 the family were registered as living at 100 Russell Road, Wimbledon. Along with their son Herbert Robert, four daughters had been born, May, Ada, Violet and Florence. They also had a border living with them, James Norris Harper. Herbert was working as a paperhanger.
