George Charles Huntley Fell was the only son of George Henry Fell, a printer’s compositor and Martha Fell. George Charles was born in the first quarter of 1893 and, at the time, the family resided at 29 Ralph Street in Southwark.
The 1901 Census reveals that 34 Year old George Henry was now an employer and a master printer who lived with his wife 32 year old Martha, and his 8 year old daughter Maude as well as 7 year old George Charles at 10 Evelyn Road in South Wimbledon.
There is no trace of the family in the 1911 Census.
George Charles enlisted in the Royal Field Artillery and died of his wounds on the 24th July1917. He is buried at the Dickebusch New Military Extension.
