George Pilgrim Bowie was an architect by trade, and a licentiate member of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Although not commemorated in the London Borough of Merton, he is included here as his father, Mr A H Bowie, lived in Wimbledon. His grave is at the Rosenberg Chateau Military Cemetery, which is 3 1/2 Miles West South West of Warneton, 4 Miles North of Armentieres, Belgium.
