We have very little information about Frederick. He was born c. 1880, his parents were Frederick and Louisa, he was married to Gertrude and had one daughter called Muriel. He and Gertrude lived at 34 Wellington Road in Wimbledon Park.
Frederick was a member of the 1st Battalion Rifle Brigade and was killed in action “death presumed” on 22 March 1918.
He is commemorated on the Pozieres Memorial and in St Luke’s Church, Wimbledon Park.
