We know very little about Thomas except that his mother’s name was Mary and he enlisted in Wimbledon.
Initially he was a Private no 4370 in the 15th Battalion of the London Regiment and served abroad from 23 June 1916 to 20 June 1917. His regimental number changed to 531819 but he continued serving in the same regiment and was sent to Egypt on 23 June 1917.
He was killed in action in Syria on 31 October 1917 and his pension was paid to his mother.
