Not a great deal is known about Frederick Archibald Jackson. He was 23 years old when he died on 23 February 1915 he may have been born in Secunderabad in India. His parents were F A Jackson, who was living at 20 Alverston Avenue, Wimbledon Park, at the time of his son’s death and Edith Elizabeth Jackson,
Frederick was killed in action and is commemorated on the Menin Gate at Ypres and in St Luke’s Church, Wimbledon Park.
