Everard was the eldest child of Henry and Sarah Yeo, born in 1893 in Hanover Square
By the 1911 census his family, which included siblings Arthur, Edith and Mildred, lived at 12 The Crescent, Wimbledon Park and he was a Bank Clerk.
Everard enlisted in the 8th Devons regiment but was soon attached to the 36th Battalion of the Machine Gun Corps as a 2nd Lieutenant.
He died of wounds on 7 October 1916, just two months after his younger brother Arthur had been killed, and was buried in Heilly Station Cemetery.
