Pascall's Sweets

Started by James Pascall during the late nineteenth century, this confectionery firm moved to Mitcham in the early 1900s.

By 1914 Pascall's was managed by the founder’s three sons and became a protected industry due to its role in supporting and promoting wartime food production and rationing.

Pascall’s also formed its own Pals battalion – a military unit comprised of workers from the factory, who enlisted together on the condition that they would also serve together.
