Service Record - Alfred Charles Elgood
Additional Information
This is the second page of Alfred Elgood's discharge papers. He was discharged from the Royal Field Artillery after only three months of service for "bad" military character and for "not being likely to become an efficient soldier." However, he re-enlisted under the alias Alfred Totterdill with the Northamptonshire Regiment shortly afterwards, and honourably served with them for three years until his death in 1917.
