This memorandum, written the year after Robert Elgood was killed, requests that any of Robert's personal belongings still in the Army's possession be sent to his widow, Mabel. These items included, amongst other things: a pair of gloves, a whistle, cigarettes, postcards, 2 mouth organs, Christmas cards, and a "housewife" (sewing kit).
