This medical report comes from the service record of Lionel Winnington Forde. He enlisted in November 1916, when he was only 17. Because of his youth, he was allowed into the Army despite his chest measurement being slightly under the minimum requirement, as it was thought he'd bulk up in time. Other than his chest and his teeth, which apparently "required attention," Lionel was in good health.
